retard their hype continously. The Portland-based band’s first release «Healer» in 2005, the follow up «In The City» two years later, their cover of Kate Bush’s «Running Up The Hill» and their debut album all caused a ruckus throughout the music press, but they didn’t feed the flames. The 80s synth melancholia of Johnny Jewell, Adam Miller and singer Lena Okazaki sounds like a heroin trip down Miami’s Ocean Boulevard.

L: This is my jam.
A: Probably a T. Rex song. I have been obsessed with Marc Bolan from the first moment I heard T. Rex. To me, this is perfect music.
