exist in a world that’s entirely of their own creation. One in which Welsh mystics, Tim Burtonesque chorals and mariachi brass collide to weird extend. The Cardiff foursome will be the next Gorky’s Zygotic Myncis or even the next Super Furry Animals.
Amazing band. We do a cover of this live sometimes.
It's a great driving song, got a great rhythm and the vocals are sweeeet.
One of my favourite artists. I could have chosen half a dozen Orbison tacks for this. The chords and melody are beautiful.
The second half of this song with the white noise and haunting piano gives a great floating in space feeling!
It’s my current alarm.
Me an Meilyr (singer) got into GZM when we were about 13 and played this song in school bands.
At Glastonbury 2007.
I brought it in Greenwich village, can’t remember the shop but it was $19 well spent. It’s one of my favourite albums.
I think my dad had just brought it on CD (circa 1994) and I loved «When I’m 64» and just played that over and over. I don’t think I listened to the rest of the album until about four years later!!
I use to play this on a club night that Gaff use to put on in Cardiff called «Nyth». This one is from the album «Propaganda», my favourtie Sparks album, and the chorus has got an amazing energy and groove.
I think it was «Fresh Hits 1998». A timeless record!!
Theres thousands! Maybe «Circus Time». It changes from day to day.
