Explosions In The Sky
was touted early on in their career as the next phenomenon in moody and dynamic instrumental indie rock à la Mogwai and Godspeed You Black Emperor! Since their formation in 1999 the quartet of Texas kids have released six highly acclaimed albums and gained a reputation for a scathingly intense live performance.
Still love it.
I think I could listen to this song for more than 24 hours straight.
A fantastic theme.
Sounds good with wind in your hair.
Beautiful song, and quiet enough so I can listen for animals around me.
It puts a strange spin on the evening.
Nice and light.
This song can make literally anything seem surreal.
I see no relation to the cucumber but this is a killer song.
My favorite band to listen to in almost all situations.
It's so heavy and maudlin, it makes me feel at ease with the depressing qualities of the world.

Seems like the most incongruous song I can think of.
I don't play football but seems like it would take it to a new level.
I probably need to go jogging more.

Helps me drift and forget that I'm thousands of feet in the air.
An obvious choice, but damn what a song.
Would lend an air of intensity to the proceedings.
To lighten the mood.
To be honest, I am not a smoker anymore, but I think I would put this on first.
Makes it all feel like a dream.
