Alexandra Hope
is a singer/songwriter originally based in Minneapolis. After a stint in Paris she relocatd to New York, where she recorded her debut album with Fiery Furnaces drummer David Muller in just three days. In 2009 she moved to Los Angeles.

Such a pretty song, one of my all time favorites but it has always had a sort of haunting quality. I love it when something sweet and beautiful hints at a darker side.
This song has movement, sense of going somewhere. There’s so much to learn out on the streets.
The opening line «morning to you» says it all.
Keeps the momentum going even though it’s such a short song.
