Hacienda
was formed by cousins Abraham Villanueva (piano/vocals) and Dante Schwebel (guitar/vocals), together with Abraham's brothers Jaime (drums/vocals) and Rene Villanueva (bass/vocals). This Mexican-American quartet from San Antonio blends a raw yet sophisticated style of pop music with harmonies reminiscent of the Beatles and the Beach Boys.
The band's sophomore album, «Big Red and Barbocoa», produced by Dan Auerbach, was released in April 2010 via Alive Naturalsounds Records.
I just used to listen to The Who nonstop during high school, and this was one of the craziest ones.
