was first an actress before becoming a singer and one of the pioneers of acid jazz in Japan. Since her debut in 1991 she has released over twelve albums, many compilations and remix projects, and numerous singles. She is currently living in New York with her husband, jazz trumpeter Alex Sipiagin and their son Nikita.
