would love to produce disco records in the spirit of West End, Prelude or Salsoul Records. But long ago the producer from Galway, Ireland has accepted that the logical consequence is to create genuine, modern house music. On his imprint Feel Music he even acts out his love for krautrock and New Age. And his own tracks have been licensed by one of his heroes, Francois Kevorkian, for his label Wave.
Samuel Beckett: «Collected Short Plays». Pure genius. Refined. A lifetime of reading, great for the imagination. / The Old Testament. Proper fire and brimstone. «Gimme that old time religion, its good enough for me.» / Jack Higgins: «The Eagle Has Landed». A classic WWII novel. It’s got everything a great story should have, including Liam Devlin, one of the best characters of all time.
I’ve been listening to it for 14 years and it still gets better with every listen! It’s my favourite album.
What you give to Beefheart, he will give back to you 100 times more and this is his masterpiece. Also very good for comic relief.
It goes really well with sunshine. I presume we are talking about a tropical island here? Also it just keeps on giving. Always something new to be found in it.
