never belonged to the top of Soul’s who’s who – despite several RnB hits for the legendary Fame studios in the 60’s. Only in 1976 did she have a huge disco hit with «Young Hearts Run Free» and in 86 with «You Got The Love». But the singer from the Southern states never saw herself as a disco diva and started to record strictly gospel albums, which gained her two Grammys. In 2006 she returned with a secular project entitled «His Hands».
