Bettye Lavette
has many sides to her. Foremost she was a cult favorite on the British Northern Soul scene in the late 60’s. But she also charted several Top 10 hits in her native US during the golden era of RnB. In the early 80’s she transformed into a disco diva and recorded for West End Records («Doin The Best I Can»). In 2004 she was awarded the «best comeback blues artist» and has now released an album full of songs by The Beatles, Stones and Led Zeppelin.
