startet out as devotees of Neil Young’s country-tinged classic rock, but steadily widened their sound throughout the following decade, embracing everything from neo-psychedelia to Americana, funk, prog, and reggae. By now, they have successfully molded themselves into Kentucky’s answer to Wilco. Singer and frontman Jim James is also a member of folk supergroup Monsters Of Folk (together with M.Ward and Conor Oberst).
