Which song do you listen to when...
you try to stay up for more than 24 hours?
I do just a little bit of spiked grass and dance the limbo with my friends to french hits.
you come home from the club?
A never ending tone in the middle ear if the show was any good, and I removed my earplugs for a while.
you take a bubble bath?
No. Never. But when the next record kicks in, I'll try it.
you sit by a camp fire?
A-ha - Hunting High And Low
you prepare a candle light dinner?
Chopin
Probably pick out that Chopins' Greatest again. I do not have any classical skills or knowledge, but Mr. Chop sure can set a nice mood.
you go to a club?
I like to watch shows and then I listen to the band, hopefully. If there's nothing playing, I'd go home or to a quieter bar.
you run naked through a cornfield?
Richard Wagner - The Ride Of The Valkyries
I like to do it everyday, all day long, but I come from a farmers area, and it's dangerous to run in their fields without pants on. If I do so, it would be with the theme song from «Deliverance» or «The Ride Of The Valkyries» on roofspeakers, hunting me down on 4x4's.
you prepare for an important date?
When I dated my girl, I did a few rounds of some Italian Disco collection. That did the trick alright.
you want to disturb your neighbours?
Then I play drums, ukulele & sing through a megaphone simultaniously. I call it «Ego Tripping at The Gates of Hell», and it's a real threat to the others in the building.
you drive a car late at night?
Pavement - Range Life
I do not have a soundsystem in my car. Or a car. But if I had, it would depend a lot on where I was driving and what season. «Range Life» by Pavement is always a classic and fits whenever, exept on the German autobahn. Some Eric's Trip up in the mountains of Gausdal on first snow in november I'd like a lot.
you drive into the country?
Guided By Voices - Motor Away
Fuck, I should have saved «Range Life» for this one... But since I already used it, I choose another great car tune, «Motor Away» by Guided By Voices.
you go fishing?
Never music when fishing. One has to be able to hear the mosquitos before they touch down. This advice will save you a lot of pain later.
you jog?
No jogging. 52 mm. On Indy's or walking with long steps only.
you are love sick?
Dinosaur Jr. - Going Home
I put on some Dopesmoke With Onion on cassette. Or Dinosaur Jr. with «Going Home».
you make love?
Not with a soundtrack, sir. Tried once with Nine Inch Nails. Too much.
you pretend to be married?
Then I put on a song made by my girl Karen. She makes the best ones around at the moment, and that's not something I just say to make her feel better.
you paint your apartment?
Woods - Rain On
Something to peak the natural high from the fumes. The guitar at the intro sounds better and better, man.
you meet your parents?
Elvis Presley
I choose anything by Elvis Presley. In honor of my father.
you sit in a plane?
I try to watch «Northern Exposure» because I do not like listening to music when I'm on a plane. It's too much. Like making love almost. You've got to focus on the surroundings.
you have to spend a night in a spooky hotel?
Sten Carlberg - I Am An Astronaut
I'd put on «I Am An Astronaut», a Swedish version by Sten Carlberg. It has an extremly funky drumbeat. It's great.
you sit in the subway?
N.W.A.
Something made by N.W.A. if I just moved to the city. Just to scare myself cool. Probably something recommended on a blog if I have lived there a while and got the neighbours broadband up and running. I used to listen to a lot of great new bands, but then I lost my portable player - and stopped using the subway.
you wake up?
Beat Happening - Other Side
If it's a slow day I put on Chopins' «Greatest Hits» LP and boil a few eggs, or Beat Happening with «Other Side» and instant coffee if it's not.
you walk in the rain?
Bon Iver - Skinny Love
It's a lot of great rainmusic out there but Nick Drake takes the cake I guess. Or Bon Iver with «Skinny Love».

Sir Machete - Sympathy
What kind of girly questiones is this? I rub some cheap soap on whats left and whistle some track by Sir Machete, maybe «Sympathy».
