Frank Black
changed the indie guitar world forever with his band Pixies. After seven years, in 1993, he informed his bandmates about his departing via fax. He continued his solo career as Black Francis and Frank Black. Since 2004 the Pixies are touring again and Black is also recording studio albums with his wife Violet Clark under the name Grand Duchy.
