«Expresso Bongo» – a film about the music business in early 60s London which I saw the night before being shipped off to boarding school and it stayed with me as the first inklings of the dream I had to be a pop singer / «Bambi» affected me deeply as a child and made me feel protective towards animals. / «The Dark Crystal» (by Muppets’ director Jim Henson and Frank Oz). An important film in my own children’s young years.
take these three games along:
cards for Solitaire / Gameboy (see above for how to keep it charged up). Because I love the tune on the first SuperMario – it reminds me of my youngest son; and I used to be addicted to Tetris) / Fivestones. That’s supposing there is only sand on this desert island and no pebbles. I spent hours perfecting my technique with this game as a child.
