Nedry
are a three-piece band formed in London in 2008. The band consists of Chris Amblin and Matt Parker, on guitars, laptops and synthesizers and Ayu Okakita on vocals. The band has released one album, Condors, originally released on On The Shelf Records in 2009, and subsequently re-released on Monotreme Records in 2010.
At primary school, my teacher in Year 5 played it to me and I thought I had found the new music I wanted to listen to. It was a fad that lasted two weeks until my older brother got hold some stuff by The Stone Temple Pilots and I moved on.

Festival: Day 1 Rock Werchter 2003 with Björk and Radiohead. Gig: Battles, Clark w/live drummer and Zan Lyons, Leeds 2007 at Stylus... most solid lineup I've ever seen for one gig. Couldnt' fault the diversity of the acts and each was amazing in it's own way.

I wanted to buy this for about 9 months and then discovered it when in San Francisco at Amoeba music in the huge mega store and I realised it was the best record shop I've ever been to.
I can’t listen to «Sleeping In» without it reminding me of that particular relationship.
Mostly remember it because of the «Moonwalker»-video that my older brother had. We watched it non-stop.

I went travelling around Europe after school and the first night I spent with my friends in Belgium and saw Björk, Radiohead and Massive Attack all in two nights. And that was just the start of the holiday (Rock Werchter 2003).

This video and song pissed me off constantly for weeks on end in the 90s thanks to the ITV charts show.
The perfect song. I bought both version of the single when it came out after seeing them play it live on Jools Holland.
