has been bustin out beats since the early 90's. He has put out a well recieved album on Rekids, as well as singles - and released on Bearfunk, Tirk, Tiny Sticks, Jisco among others, as well as working together with Foolish Felix as the Mythical Beasts, doing top notch edits as Casinoboy and frequently providing remixes – in a recognisable house tinged with disco style.
All these tracks and their respective albums received full rotation and I could play the latter two on guitar as well.
a song guaranteed to make you feel depressed
Any death metal or nasty ear grating music.
a record you fell in love to
Joe Cocker - You Are So Beautiful
first record you remember
Sky
My dad had them all and I really like the covers. Plus the songs were a source of much amusement to our family.
the song to be played at your funeral
Prefab Sprout - Cars & Girls
Of course.
a song that evokes the greatest summer of your life
The Stone Roses - Fools Gold
I rememeber the excitement of this record at college while everyone was just discovering all night partying while wearing very baggy jeans and stripey tops. The Stone Roses played at raves as did the Happy Mondays – and it was all around the beginnings of ecstasy and all that. «Fools Gold» is a head down classic. And I passed my driving test that year.
your ultimate heartbreak song
Joe Cocker - You Are So Beautiful
perfect anthem for London
Roy Davis Jr. feat Peven Everett - Gabriel
Massive bassline, massive London vibe, so much soul. I remember when I first heard it on Kiss FM. I HAD to have it. I was a man obsessed!
first record you bought
Grandmaster Melle Mel & The Furious Five - Step Off
Me and a mate learned the exact lyrics of this from «Smash Hits» mag. And I can still recite them to the word – today!

D-Train - Music
New Order - Blue Monday
Lil' Louis - French Kiss
These are songs that have been anthems to me through my life.
a song you wish you'd written yourself
Prefab Sprout - Cars & Girls
This is probably my favorite song ever. And you can also file this under «ultimate heartbreak» / «fell in love» song.
