David Holmes
is among the best in the cadre of soundtrack producers inspired by composers like Lalo Schifrin, John Barry and Ennio Morricone. He scored soundtracks for movies like «Out Of Sight» and «Ocean Eleven». The Belfast musician is also a well respected DJ and started his career as a dance music producer and remixer. Inbetween his work for Hollywood he still releases solo albums with more song-oriented material and even his own singing.
His first proper retrospective «The Dogs Are Parading: The Very Best of David Holmes» was releases by UME in 2010.
