are the three Scroggins sisters Maria, Renee and Valerie. In 1981 the Bronx family venture released an EP produced by Martin Hannett of Joy Division-fame. Although «Moody» and «UFO» became some of the most sampled tracks of hiphop and techno the band fell into oblivion. With punkfunk’s rennaissance at the change of the millennium ESG had their comeback and released – now accompanied by their daughters – two new albums on Soul Jazz Records.
