was born in 1979 in Tel Aviv and now lives in Cape Town. The singer-songwriter of Israeli-Romanian descent made his reputation coming from a bleep-happy dance music background, but is gradually edging closer to the mainstream.

I heard «Sour Times» by Portishead on the Radio in South Africa before the record was released and called the record store every day for two months to ask if it had arrived yet.

I remember my brother played me «I Am The Walrus» because I had seen the title in his songbook and thought it was funny. I still love that song though.

Depends on the crowd. I can jump around like a lunatic to «Give It Away» by the Chilli Peppers or Prodigy's «Out Of Space». Both quite old school. Or something more clubby like «Cowgirl» by Underworld. Or something by Missy Elliot, lets say «Pass That Dutch». Oh, and «So Fresh So Clean» by Outkast makes me feel super cool. As you can see, I'm not very good at making decisions.

Many many. Most recently «Crazy» by Gnarls Barkley, «Time to Pretend» by MGMT and «Umbrella» (sung by Rihana,but I very much doubt that she wrote it). But if I had to name just one, I would say «Strawberry Fields Forever».
